The Hampton Redevelopment & Housing Authority (HRHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for one day in July 2016, and before that in July 2007. This waiting list has the following preferences: Households terminated from the HCV program due to insufficient funding, Hampton Public Housing residents whose unit has been slated for demolition/disposition only in the event that the housing authority does not receive replacement or tenant protection for vouchers of said unit(s), live/work in Hampton, VA. Applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
