The Wilson Housing Authority (WHA) Public Housing waiting list for 2-Bedroom apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least February, 2021, until further notice.There are two ways to apply during the opening period:Pint the paper application online here. Select the "Public Housing Application" link.Pick up an application Monday-Thursday, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm ET, at one of the following locations:Forrest Road Homes-502 Parkview St.Whitfield Homes-633 E. Walnut St.E.B. Jordan Homes- 1800-H Fountain Dr.WHA Admin office- 301 E. Nash St.Once the paper application has been completed, it must be emailed to [email protected] waiting list has the following preferences:Involuntary DisplacementVeteran/HomelessWorking Family Defined as being self-employed, working an average of 20 hours or more a week for at least 11 months, or being seasonally employed for 2 years with the current employer and working 20 hours a week or more).
