This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Wilson, North Carolina.The Wilson Housing Authority (WHA) Public Housing waiting list for 3, 4, and 5-Bedroom apartments is currently open.The WHA is accepting applications for this waiting list since at least until August 22, 2024.There are two ways to apply during the opening period:Print the paper application online. Select the "Public Housing Application" link.Pick up an application Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm ET, at one of the following locations:Forrest Road Homes-502 Parkview St.Whitfield Homes-633 E. Walnut St.E.B. Jordan Homes- 1800-H Fountain Dr.WHA Admin office- 301 E. Nash St.Once the paper application has been completed, it must be either:Hand delivered to one of the locations noted above.Post marked by August 22, 2024; and mailed to the WHA office.This waiting list has the following preferences:Involuntary DisplacementVeteransHomelessVictims of Domestic ViolenceWorking FamilyDefined as being self-employed, working an average of 20 hours or more a week for at least 11 months, or being seasonally employed for 2 years with the current employer and working 20 hours a week or more).
