The Housing Authority of Owensboro (HAO) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The HAO offers three Public Housing communities with 555 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms. To apply, visit the HAO office to submit a pre-application in person, located at 2161 E 19th St., Owensboro, KY 42303, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am CT; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: Social Security Cards for all household members, and photo IDs for all adult household members. All adult household members must be present when applying for Public Housing. No preferences were noted.
