The Peoria Housing Authority (PHA) Near Elderly Disabled (NED) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least July, 2021, until further notice.Please note: According to the PHA, "The NED Program serves the family whose head of household is disabled and under the age of 62."There are two ways to apply during the opening period:Pick up an application at the PHA Administrative Office; located at 100 S Richard Pryor Pl, Peoria, IL 61605; from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.Call (309) 676-8736, Ext. 14079 to request an application by mail.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the HCV Eligibility Clerk in the PHA office at the address above; on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Applicants will be interviewed by the PHA Eligibility Clerk to review the application for completeness and accuracy.
