The Southern Iowa Regional Housing Authority (SIRHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The SIRHA has communities in the following counties: Union, Clarke, Decatur, Ringgold, Adams, and Taylor.Please note: All one bedroom units are reserved for elderly/disabled households.There are three ways to apply:Visit the SIRHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 219 N. Pine St., Creston, Iowa 50801, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (641) 782-8585, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Download a pre-application online here, then print and complete.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
