The Housing Authority of the Birmingham District (HABD) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from October 28, 2019, until November 1, 2019; or until 300 applications were submitted. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.Please note: According to the HABD, "The Mainstream Voucher Program is for families that include a qualifying household member, who must be non-elderly, disabled.
