About this program
The NMCCF is dedicated to supporting adult patients' nonmedical financial needs during their battle against cancer. Assistance is given for such living expenses as rent, mortgage, utilities and transportation. Payments are made directly to a third party, not to the patient. Mission Statement: When someone receives a cancer diagnosis, the patient and their families get quickly thrown into a world of complicated medical procedures, decisions and treatment options. For some patients, the diagnosis and treatment of cancer is accompanied with devastating financial and emotional effects.
