Grant types: Emergency Assistance: A one-time rent, mortgage or utility payment Health Services: Through a partnership with Westonka Medical Clinic, WeCAN will refer uninsured clients to needed health appointments Emergency Pet Assistance: Small grants to help with emergency veterinarian procedures for pets Eligibility: Assistance requires proof of emergency, county or other agency ineligibility, as well as income and other verifications. Clients must reside in WeCANs service area. If a client resides out of this area WeCAN will refer to the appropriate social service agency.
