About this program

Provides mortgage, rental, and utility assistance. These programs are offered through a referral by the Homeless Prevention Call Center which can be reached at 877.426.6515. Temporary Lodging is also available to qualifying families and individuals who may be facing homelessness due to fire, eviction, or other crisis. Foreclosure Prevention Specialists help those families who are having difficulty paying their mortgage. Also assists with food and health. Mission Statement: Respond Now's mission is to provide immediate relief for residents of the Chicago south suburbs who are in need while maintaining dignity and choice. We do this by: · Helping people through their temporary emergencies with financial assistance · Providing food to families and individuals in need · Providing sound referrals and counseling to other needed services
