Clients must arrive at the Social Services Office with required documentation before 11 a.m. for clothing or financial assistance and before 1:30 p.m. for food. To receive any services from Daystar Life Center, one must be: a resident of Citrus County capable of coming to our Social Services Office during posted times timely in providing all required documentation Required Documentation: Photo ID for every adult in the household Birth Certificates or Custody Documents for every child younger than 18 Printed Proof of Social Security Numbers for every household member [Social Security card, Medicare card, latest federal income tax return, 1099 form (1st pg.), SSD/SSI benefit statement, DCF benefit printout, paycheck stub, or school shot record] Printed Proof of Residence [lease, current SNAP (food stamps) benefit letter, Medicaid benefit letter, or SSI/SSD benefit statement] Printed Proof of Income [current SSI/SSD benefit statement, paycheck stub, or W-2 form] Notice of Eviction or Utility Disconnection for rent or utility assistance Mission Statement: The mission of Daystar Life Center is to provide immediate assistance for the basic needs of the poor, the homeless and the struggling families with children in Citrus County, Florida. We welcome people of all faith traditions, ethnic heritages and socio-economic backgrounds to support and to help carry out that mission.
