About this program
Sense of Security can fund the following expenses while you are receiving breast cancer treatment. Mortgage or rent Medical insurance premiums Transportation costs Child care Utilities Groceries Monthly assistance is available as long as medical, financial, and residency criteria are met up to a maximum of six months. Sense of Security will not be able to meet all your financial needs while you are undergoing breast cancer treatment. We strongly encourage you to explore all other options for assistance during your treatment. Requirements for eligibility: Applicant must live in the state of Colorado Applicant must be within 2 months of surgery or treatment with a diagnosis of Breast Cancer Applicants total household income must be less than the Area Median Income for the county in which they reside Applicants cash or liquid assets must be less than their expenses for the duration of treatment AND they may not own secondary real property or other liquid real or personal property.
