Hamilton Family Emergency Center the only 24-hour family emergency shelter in San Francisco, provides newly homeless families access to following: Overnight or 60-day shelter beds A full continuum of safety net support services Three nutritious meals a day Crisis intervention counseling On-site medical services Offers up to six months of shelter while providing comprehensive support services that include: Parenting skills groups Employment and housing workshops Housing search and placement assistance Budget counseling Mission Statement: Hamilton Families’ mission is to end family homelessness in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our pioneering homelessness prevention and housing subsidy programs are nationally recognized. In addition, we provide shelter and stability, and support the well-being of children experiencing homelessness.
