The Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) Project-Based Voucher waiting list for permanent supportive housing for homeless persons is currently open, from August 31, 2018, until further notice.Please note: This waiting list is for the following communities:South Bay Apartments, Portsmouth, VAHeron’s Landing, Chesapeake, VACypress Landing for homeless veterans only, Chesapeake, VAThere are three ways to apply during the opening period:Download and print the application online here. Select the application link under the list of communities.Complete the application at the CRHA office, located at 1468 South Military Highway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320 on the second Friday of each month between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.Pick up an application at the CRHA office, located at the address above, on the second Friday of each month between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.Once the paper application has been completed, it must be mailed to: Attention: HCV Department, Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 1468 South Military Highway, Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320.Preferences have not yet been confirmed.Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.For more information, read the CRHA public notice, or visit the CRHA website.
