The South Carolina Regional Housing Authority #3 (SCRHA3) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.To apply, complete the online application here.The following documentation is required when submitting the application: Name, Social Security cards, income and date of birth for all household members.This waiting list has the following preferences: Employed 20+ hours, enrolled in job training program, or attending school full time (elderly and disabled households whose heads of household or spouse is unable to work or enrolled in the Family Independence Program qualify for these preferences); involuntarily displaced by natural disaster or government action; living in substandard housing; paying more than 50% of income for rent and utilities (rent burdened).Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.For more information, visit the SCRHA3 website, or call the office at (803) 259-3588.
