This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Conway, South Carolina.The Housing Authority of Conway (HAC) last accepted Public Housing waiting list applications for 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of May 9, 2024, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.This waiting list had the following preferences:Displaced by disaster or government action - Individuals or families displaced by national government action or a federally declared disaster.Working - Head of Household is working or has been hired to work at least 25 hours per week in Horry County.Elderly - Single applicant that is elderly (62 years or older).Disabled - Single applicant that is disabled or a family with a disabled household member (must be receiving benefits or have proof of having applied for benefits).Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:Complete the online application.Pick up an application from the HAC office.Once the paper application was completed, it was to be: Returned to the HAC office.For more information, visit the HAC website.Sources: This information was verified by a HAC representative on May 9, 2024.
