The Northeast Oregon Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. For a detailed list of each apartment community this housing authority has, please follow this link. This housing authority offers ten public housing apartment communities located throughout Northeast Oregon. There are four ways to apply for public housing:1. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 2608 May Lane, P.O. Box 3357, La Grande, OR 97850, between the hours of 10am and 3pm, Monday-Thursday.2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 541-963-2465, Monday-Thursday, between the hours of 10am-3pm.3. Request an application be emailed to you by emailing the housing authority at [email protected]. Apply for public housing online here. Once the application has been completed:1. Mail or hand deliver to 2608 May Lane, P.O. Box 3357, La Grande, OR 97850.2. Fax completed applications to 541-963-3682.3. Email completed applications to [email protected] Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, and photo IDs for all adult household members. This housing authority does have a preference that may improve your spot on the waiting list: elderly, disabled, or families.
