The Tishomingo Housing Authority (THA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The THA offers one Public Housing community with 36 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms. To apply, visit the THA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 1005 N Byrd Ave., Tishomingo, OK 73460, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday. Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above. If the office is closed, you may put the pre-application in the drop box on the door. No documents are needed at this time. The THA does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received. Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority. As of December 2015, the Public Housing waiting list is short.
