The Housing Authority of Prague (HAP) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The HAP offers one Public Housing community with 40 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 3 bedrooms. To apply, visit the HAP office to pick up a pre-application, located at 607 Mitacek Ave., Prague, OK 74864, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am CT, Monday-Friday. Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday-Friday. No documents are needed at this time. The HAP does not have a preference. Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority. Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received. As of December 2015, the waiting list for Public Housing and wait time to receive assistance is long.
