This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Springfield, Clark and Champaign County, Ohio.The Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority (SMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list is closed.The SMHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from November 8, 2022, until November 22, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the application.Once the paper application was completed, it was required to be hand delivered to the SMHA office. Applications were accepted during these specific dates: November 8, 2022, November 10, 2022, November 15, 2022, and November 22, 2022.This waiting list had the following preferences:Lease in PlaceAn applicant who can document that they are: 1. a veteran with service-connected disability; 2. a family of a deceased veteran whose death was service-connected; 3.
