The Cortland Housing Authority (CHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications.The CHA offers 14 family communities, and seven communities dedicated to elderly/disabled households, all located throughout Cortland County.There are three ways to apply:Pick up an application at the CHA office, located at 42 Church St., Cortland, NY 13045.Call the CHA at (607) 753-1171 to request an application be mailed to you.Request an application be emailed to you by sending an email to the CHA at [email protected] the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.This waiting list has the following preferences: Living/working in Cortland County, elderly, or disabled.For more information, call the CHA office at (607) 753-1771.
