Please note: The Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority covers the City of Santa Fe, NM. However, the office allows Section 8 vouchers to be used outside of the city limits on its own discretion. The Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority (SFCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last opened in November 2014. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen. To apply in 2014, pre-applications were available at the the Los Alamos County Municipal Building. Applicants must have mailed or faxed the pre-application to the SFCHA office. The SFCHA accepted 200 pre-applications before closing the waiting list.
