The Housing Authority of the City of Tucumcari (HACT) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The HACT offers one Public Housing community with 90 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 5 bedrooms. There are two ways to apply: Visit the HACT to pick up a pre-application, located at 323 E Smith Ave., Tucumcari, NM 88401, during normal office hours.Request to have a pre-application mailed, emailed, or faxed to you by calling (575) 461-4403 during normal office hours.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm MT, Monday-Friday. Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, birth certificates, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. The HACT does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
