The Housing Authority of the Town of Phillipsburg (HATP) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The HATP offers two family communities for families and three communities dedicated to senior/disabled individuals. For a complete list of each community the HATP offers, please follow this link. To apply for public housing, download the application here, then print and complete. Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to 530 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 between the hours of 8:30 and 3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday. Be sure to bring everything that is applicable on the checklist. The HATP does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: live and/or work in Phillipsburg, displaced by natural disaster, victim of domestic violence, displaced by government action, or employed.
