There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.Please note: The HACPA public notice stated, "Applications will be accepted from the following categories of families:Families for which at least one member is a U.S. Veteran (engaged in active duty or has honorable or general discharge), which may also include a surviving spouse of a deceased U.S. Veteran. Families who were displaced from their permanent residence in Perth Amboy due to a natural disaster within the last 18 months and are not yet in permanent replacement housing. Families who reside in Perth Amboy, or the head of household or spouse works in Perth Amboy. Applications that do not meet the criteria above will be disqualified without further notice."To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.The Maximum income limits for each household size were listed on the public notice.Preferences, if any, have not yet been confirmed for this waiting list.300 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, in order of preferences.
