The Dover Housing Authority (DHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The DHA offers four Public Housing communities with 458 units for families and senior/disabled households. There are three ways to apply: Download all forms of the pre-application online here, then print and complete. Please make sure to download the pre-application for a specific apartment community, and not for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, which is at the top of the page.Request an application be mailed to you by calling (603) 742-5804, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm ET on Mondays and Wednesday-Friday; and from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on Tuesdays.Visit the DHA to pick up a pre-application in person, located at 62 Whittier St., Dover, NH 03820, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesday-Friday; and from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on Tuesdays.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include copies of the following documentation when submitting your pre-application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, photo IDs for all adult household members. Please note: Certain parts of the application must be signed in front of a notary. The DHA has identified the following preferences: Live and/or work in Dover, victim of domestic violence.
