The Forest City Housing Authority (FCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The FCHA offers one Public Housing community with 149 units for families and senior/disabled individuals. To apply: You must visit the FCHA in person on Tuesdays only, between the hours of 9:00 am until 11:30 am, and 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm. The FCHA is located at 147 E. Spruce St., Forest City, NC. Be sure to bring these documents with you: birth certificates, social security cards, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of income. All adult household members must be present when applying for Public Housing. No preferences were noted.
