The Brevard Housing Authority (BHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The BHA offers one Public Housing Community with 162 units for families and senior/disabled individuals. To apply: Visit the BHA to pick up an application, located at 133 West Morgan St, Brevard, NC, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday. Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates for children, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. The BHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: elderly, disabled, homeless, or live and/or work in Brevard.
