The Tarkio Housing Authority (THA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for General Occupancy. The THA offers one Public Housing community with 37 units for general occupancy, ranging in size from 1 to 2 bedrooms. To apply, visit the THA to pick up a pre-application, located at 218 S Maple St., Tarkio, MO 64491, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm CT; and 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm, Monday-Thursday. Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time. The THA does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
