The Caruthersville Housing Authority (CHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The CHA offers two Public Housing communities with 304 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms. To apply, visit the CHA office to submit a pre-application in person, located at 200 W 12th St., Caruthersville, MO 63830, from 8:00 am until 11:30 am CT; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: Social Security Cards for all household members, and proof of all income. The CHA does have a preference for: Elderly, disabled, working families, and applicants that live and/or work in Caruthersville.
