The Iron County Housing Commission (ICHC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. This waiting list is open indefinitely. Iron County, MI is about 70 miles southwest of Marquette, MI. Please note: There are currently no persons on the waiting list, and vouchers are available for qualified applicants. As of August 4, 2015, there are 30 vouchers available. There are two ways to apply:Visit the ICHC office to pick up a pre-application, located at 210 N 3rd St., Crystal Falls MI, 49920, during normal office hours.Download the online pre-application here, then print and complete. Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include copies of these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, birth certificates, and photo IDs for all adult household members. The ICHC does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the application is received.
