The Fall River Housing Authority (FRHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The FRHA offers eleven public housing communities with 2,042 units for families and senior/disabled individuals. There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the FRHA to pick up an application, located at 220 Johnson St., Fall River, MA between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.2. Download the application here, then print and complete. Once the application has been completed, it can be hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, photo IDs for all adult household members, notarized statement of child support payments, updated savings book, last six months of checking statements, student letter, and present and previous landlord information. Please note: You must bring in your own copies, and all adult household members must be present. The FRHA does have a preference points system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: displaced by fire, displaced by natural disaster, displaced by government action, live and/or work in Fall River, working/educational/training program, or victim of domestic violence.
