The Slidell Housing Authority (SHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for four days in July 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen. There were two ways to apply: 1. Download the online application, then print and complete. 2. Pick up an application at the SHA. Once the application has been completed, it must have been mailed to the SHA at: Slidell Housing Authority Attn: Housing Choice Voucher Program PO Box 1392 Slidell, LA 70459 Please note: Only applications postmarked between the open dates noted above will be accepted. Faxed, emailed or hand-delivered applications were not be accepted. The SHA has noted on its Craigslist public notice that there were a limited number of vouchers available.
