The Housing Authority of the City of Natchitoches (HACN) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The HACN offers two Public Housing communities with 398 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms. To apply, visit the HACN to submit a pre-application in person, located at 536 Culbertson Lane, Natchitoches, LA 71457, from 7:30 am until 11:00 am, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, three months of bank statements, last years W-2's and tax forms, if receiving Social Security, you must bring the award letter, and photo IDs for all adult household members. All adult household members must be present when applying. The HACN does have a preference for: Working families, elderly, disabled, and live and/or work in Natchitoches.
