The Housing Authority of Rayne (HAR) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. The HAR offers one Public Housing community with 200 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms. To apply, visit the HAR to pick up a pre-application, located at 1011 The Blvd, Rayne, LA 70578, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday. Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, Social Security benefit letter, food stamp award letter (if applicable).
