The Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) Public Housing waiting list is currently open, since at least March, 2017, until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.To apply, download and print the application online here. Select the "Application for Public Housing" or "Application for Public Housing (Spanish)" link.Once the application has been completed, it must be mailed or hand delivered to the LMHA at 420 South 8th Street, Louisville, KY 40203, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.This waiting list has the following preferences: Displaced victims of domestic violence, displaced by government action, rent burden, substandard living conditions, or homeless.For more information, visit the LMHA website.
