The Housing Authority of Hazard (HAH) is currently accepting Public Housing community for families and senior/disabled households. The HAH offers two Public Housing communities with 273 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 5 bedrooms. To apply, visit the HAH to pick up a pre-application, located at 100 Campbell St, Hazard, KY 41701, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the HAH at (606) 436-5741 to schedule an appointment to hand in the pre-application. Be sure to bring these documents with you to the appointment: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
