The Housing Authority of Cynthiana (HAC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice. Cynthiana, KY is about 30 miles north of Lexington, KY. To apply, visit the HAC office to pick up a pre-application, located at 148 Federal St., Cynthiana, KY 41031, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm ET; and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm, on Wednesdays. No documents are needed at this time. The HAC does have a preference for applicants who live in Cynthiana.
