The Muncie Housing Authority (MHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The MHA offers two family communities and one apartment community dedicated to senior/disabled individuals. For a detailed list of each community this housing authority offers, please follow this link. There are two ways to apply for public housing:1. Visit the MHA office to pick up an application, located at 409 East First St., Muncie, IN 47302, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm.2. Download an application here, then print and complete. Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time. The MHA does have a preference for applicants that are working 20 or more hours for week.
