The Anderson Housing Authority (AHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The AHA offers two apartment communities with 84 units, and 52 single family homes scattered throughout Anderson. To apply for public housing, you must pick up an application at the AHA office located at 528 W. 11th St., Anderson, IN 46016, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time. The AHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: employed at least 20 hours a week or more.
