The Fulton County Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and elderly/disabled individuals. This Housing Authority offers two communities dedicated to elderly disabled individuals, and two communities dedicated to families. The wait time for public housing is approximately 1 year. To apply for public housing you can stop by their office located at 250 S. Main St., Canton, IL, to pick one up, or call the office during normal business hours at 309-647-4133 to have an application mailed to you. Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the above address. Be sure to include copies of birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
