The Low Rent Housing Agency of Knoxville (LRHAK) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. Please note: The LRHAK does not offer one bedroom units. The LRHAK offers one Public Housing community with 49 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from 2 to 4 bedrooms. There are two ways to apply: Visit the LRHAK to pick up a pre-application, located at 305 S 3rd St., #1, Knoxville, IA 50138, during normal office hours.Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (641) 828-7371 during normal office hours.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, and if claiming the residency preference, include documentation.
