The Lee County Housing Authority (LCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The LCHA offers one Public Housing community with 98 units, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms. To apply, visit the LCHA to submit an application in person, located at 101 Turnkey Circle, Leesburg, GA, between the hours of 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, on Wednesdays only. Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. The LCHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: displaced due to fire, disaster, or government action, participating in and completing the strive to thrive initiative or similar program, stable work history, elderly, disabled, homeless, or veteran.
