The Housing Authority of the City of Dawson (HACD) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals. The HACD offers one Public Housing community with 116 units for families and senior/disabled individuals. To apply, visit the HACD to submit an application in person, located at 553 Lemon St. NE, Dawson, GA 39842, from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm EDT on the second and third Thursday of each month. Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. The HACD does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by date and time the application is received.
