The Lakeland Housing Authority (LHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open on a limited basis for three days in October 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen. Lakeland, FL is about 35 miles east of Tampa, FL. Please note: According to the LHA, the office "will only accept applications for working families and/or elderly/disabled families." To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online pre-application. Preferences have not yet been confirmed.
