Please note: Park City Communities covers Bridgeport, CT.The Park City Communities (PCC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for nearly two weeks in April 2016, and before that for six days in August 2014. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen. There were three ways to apply during the opening period: Download and print the pre-application online.Obtain a pre-application from a local newspaper.Pick up a pre-application at one of several locations. Once the pre-application has been completed, it must have been mailed to the PCC office. Please note: Pre-applications must have been postmarked between April 4, 2016 and April 15, 2016. Pre-applications postmarked outside of those dates were not accepted. 2,500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery. The lottery drawing will be held on May 13, 2016. Applicants who were placed on the waiting list will be notified by June 3, 2016. Important note: Applicants will receive a confirmation number when either applying, or being placed on the waiting list, depending on housing authority policy. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority. If any of your application information changes from the time you submitted the original pre-application (such as contact information, income, and household members), inform the housing authority immediately. In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
