The Housing Catalyst (HC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list for Non-Elderly Disabled Homeless or In Transition households is currently closed. It was last open for two weeks in May, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.Please note: according to HC, "This opportunity is only for households that meet ALL these requirements:One adult in the household must have a documented disability.ANDThe person with the disability must be between the ages of 18 and 61.ANDYour household is experiencing homelessness OR is transitioning out of an institutional or other segregated setting and would be homeless upon discharge."There were two ways to apply during the opening period:Complete the online application.Pick up an application at the Housing Catalyst office.Once the paper application was completed, it must have been either:Mailed to the Housing Catalyst.Dropped off at the Housing Catalyst office.There were no preferences.Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.For more information, visit the HC website.
