Provides public housing and section 8 vouchers. For Public Housing If you are interested in applying for public housing you can pick up the housing application at 1201 Thorpe Lane near the H-E-B. Whenever you bring your housing application back, all of the following documents are required: Birth certificates for all family members, Social Security cards for all family members, Picture ID for family members over 18 years of age, Proof of income (Wages, SS, SSI, TANF, Retirement, and Child Support)Everything that we have is by a waiting list. The waiting period ranges from about 3 to 12 months. We do not provide emergency assistance. Section 8 - The Waiting List is currently closed.
