In addition, 10% of the apartments are available for persons under age 62 who need the accessible features of the building. Amos Towers offers both one-bedroom and efficiency apartments. Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two individuals in a one bedroom apartment, and one person in an efficiency apartment. The 1-bedroom unit consists of a kitchen area/dinette, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Included in the units are air conditioning, refrigerator, stove and emergency pull cords in the bedroom and bathrooms. The efficiency unit is considered one room, the bedroom and living room are combined, with a separate kitchen and bath. Many of the efficiency apartments have been renovated with a separate bedroom.Through the Federal government Amos Tower's is able to assist residents with a Utility Allowance. Rent includes all utilities except electric, (partially subsidized at move in) telephone and cable (each apartment is cable equipped). Residents control their own heat and air conditioning.
