All of the 30 units are leased to households whose incomes do not exceed 50% of the area median income, adjusted for family size, as published annually by HUD. Fifteen units are set aside for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. All fifteen are set aside for people with identified special needs such as HIV/AIDS, severe and prolonged mental illness, and/or a history of chronic substance abuse. Thirteen of these 15 units have project-based Shelter Plus Care rental subsidies administered by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
